Report 13: Action for Goldenrod [Department Store]

[bent_causality]

A certain blonde is working in one of the stores in the department store, setting up a display of pokemon treats for the holidays and humming to herself. Mihoshi turns her back for a moment to grab something, but when she turns back, she knocks into the display and sends her hard work tumbling down.

There's a moment of panic while she tries to catch things before they hit the ground only to over extend herself and begin to flail. A resounding crash sounds through the store and Mihoshi's in the middle of the mess with tears already welling up in her eyes seconds before she starts crying.

Seconds later there's the familiar sound of a pokeball releasing and Teddiursa stands there a moment, surveying the mess. Within moments he's facepalming and shaking his head . After Teddi-chan gets over the impossiblity of his trainer he pats her knee and waits for her to calm down. It's... gonna be a while.

That's good. That was quite a loud crash! But at least it sounded worse than it was.

[Rarity tries not to wince as she crouches down to pick up some of the things in her way. Once she clears a small path, she stands up again and moves closer to Mihoshi, reaching down to offer her a hand up.]

Here, darling. Let's get you up off of the floor.

[Mihoshi sniffles as she watches Rarity clear a path and even tries to help a little. Once the hand was offered, she gladly took it and got to her feet. For a few moments the blonde was a little wobbly before she steadied herself.]

T-thanks.. I really didn't meant to make the mess.. it just happened you know?

[Rarity smiles sympathetically.]

Of course, dear. These things happen to even the best of us.

[Rarity pauses to reach into her purse and pull out a tissue for Mihoshi.]

Here... Dry your eyes.

[She just nods and takes the offered tissue to dry her eyes.]

It's really nice you've stopped to help me. I don't think I can thank you enough!

[Mihoshi manages a slight smile.]

I just um.. need to get this cleaned up I guess. I really should do something to thank you for making me feel better.

[Rarity shakes her head.]

Oh no! There's no need for that. Honestly, I'm just glad that you're alright.

[Smile, smile. You're so cute, Mihoshi. Rarity could do so much with you fashion-wise.

But for now! She's gonna help you out a little.]

Are you sure? I would hate to take you way from something you might need to do...

[Still, she was happy for the help. Clean up went much faster than it would have with just her and when they were done, she was all smiles.]

Not at all! The rest of my day us mostly free. [Minus one minor bit of unpleasantness she needed to take care of...

At least Mihoshi is smiling after they're all done!]

Oh so do I! I don't think my boss would like if I make another mess you know? It might make my debt a little bigger if I break something really expensive next time.
