[Accidental voice/video]
- wasn't very nice!
[There's the sound of a crash and sniffling almost like someone's close to tears before the video function on the poke gear clicks on. Mihoshi is sitting under a tree rubbing her head with her hat in her lap and her bag in a heap beside her. It seems someone tripped and managed to get grass stains on her uniform pants.
The blonde woman looks close to tears for several moments before lifting up her hand to look at a.. watch. The tears vanish and she seems to concentrate on the watch, tapping it every little bit.]
Um, Yukinojo? Hello? Is this thing on?
[While she's attempting to talk into her watch there's movement from the bag as a pokeball rolls out. It bumps into her side and the ball releases its occupant, one very confused Teddiursa. It takes Mihoshi several moments to realize there's something else there with her. She stares at him for several moments before smiling and sweeping the cute bear into a hug.
The video cuts out moments later.]

Like many of the people here, you have brought to Johto. No one is sure just how or why we've been brought here, but as far as we can tell there's no way for us to leave on our own.
There's a good chance your cube isn't here. You see, many of us who are brought here are brought here without anything we might have had back home. And that's not a teddy bear, that's a Pokemon~! He'll be a partner of sorts to you. Oooh, and he's just adorable, too~!
Re: [Video]
[Mihoshi starts to blush a little and fidget a bit.]
..and he was so nice about it! I really should get back! Tenchi's waiting for me and...
[She just shakes her head and giggles as she gets a far away look in her eyes. It takes a gentle pat from her teddiursa's claws on her arm to snap her out of it. The blonde blinks for a few moments before holding out the little bare and smiling.]
So.. He's like Ryo-Ohki? Can he turn into a spaceship to?
[Puzzlette blinks. what is space travel]
...You say you had just gotten back?
Ryo-Oh...? Ah, no, I'm afraid he can't turn into any sort of ship. But he can fight for you! The animals here are called Pokemon and we're meant to raise and train them!
Re: [Video]
[By now she's cuddling the teddiursa to her breast. He looks both happy to be there and exasperated at her actions.]
Fight? Why would anyone want to make this cute little thing fight?
Um, how do you train them? Can they do tricks? Can they balance things on their nose?
It's also how you raise them! I don't battle too terribly much myself, but the Pokemon seem to like it well enough. They grow stronger the more one battles with them and some even change into a different Pokemon once it's gotten strong enough!
I believe there should be a book in the bag you were given. It may be able to explain things better than I can.
Re: [Video]
[She trails off as she pets the bears head. At the mentioning of a book, she brightens up a little and reaches for her bag. There's several moments of her taking things out and tossing them all about before she finally finds it.]
This? Is this it?
Ah, yes! That's it! It should tell you everything you need to know, including how to care for your Pokemon~! And if you have other questions, you can always ask others by using the Pokégear! That's the device we're using right now.
Re: [Video]
[She sets the book in her lap as Teddi-chan takes this moment to wander off a little. He shouldn't go too far, right?]
Um.. will the book explain how to use this thing too?
I'm afraid it doesn't, but it's really easy enough to figure out. One can learn quite a lot just by fiddling around with it!
