Report 12 [Video/ Action for Goldenrod]
So.. um, I have a question for everyone. How do you catch something that doesn't want to be caught? I mean, this little guy has been following me for several days now and he runs away every time one of my pokemon come near or he sees a pokeball. And um, We really don't want to be put to sleep or paralyzed anymore.
[Mihoshi points her camera towards a nearby tree and just barely catches a glimpse of an oddish peeking around the trunk before ducking back behind it. All her other pokemon seemed to be either annoyed or bored with the antics. As for the blonde, she's just confused. After all, its been a few days since they arrived at Goldenrod and the little guy is still following her.]
Oh! We finally made it to Goldenrod! I can't wait to do some shopping!

Do you want to capture it, or get it to leave you alone?
Re: [video]
Re: [video]
The fear of Pokeballs says no, but if it's still following you... maybe?
[Doesn't mean he won't
bumble through a round of armchair psychologisttake a shot at it, though.]Could try getting it to come closer with food. Like bribing an Ewok with a cookie.
Re: [video]
[She looks confused for a few moments as she tries to think of what he could mean before a lightbulb turns on. A very dim one, but its there.]
Oh! You mean like with Carrots? Maybe that's what it wants, food! I wonder what it eats. I mean, I think its a plant type and um.. what's it called? Oh I was just reading about this!
...So what do you feed a plant type?
Re: [video]
Uh- not a bad question, actually.
[Harry Dresden, master Pokemon trainer.]
Berries , I guess?
Re: [video]
I guess that makes sense but wouldn't that be like cannibalism? I mean if its a plant type, then um, does it really eat other plants?
Re: [video]
I wouldn't think so, unless there's some type of berry that grows into a walking blue onion-thing.
Re: [video]
So what about something sweet? Oh! Or what about water? I mean, we're always watering the carrots back home so plants must like water right?
I just don't want the little guy to get hurt! I mean the city is a dangerous place for someone all alone!
Re: [video]
[Well, his Hoppip doesn't seem too dangerous, but that might just be him. Little guy's pretty laid back.]
Water might not be a bad idea. Maybe, I dunno, sugar water? Honey or something? Hang on-
[Harry rummages in his bag offscreen for a moment, and there's a familiar flash of light from a Pokeball opening. The Hoppip in question appears with Harry.]
Whaddya think Campbell, you guys like sugar-water or something?
...I have no idea what that means.
Re: [video]
I think that was a yes! I'll try and get some sugar water and see of that works I guess.
So um, thanks! OH! Silly me, Um, I'm Mihoshi, thank you for your help!
Re: [video]
[He's not sure he actually managed to do anything here. Months in Johto and the capturing thing and how it affects a Pokemon's mood still confuses the hell out of him.]
Harry Dresden.
Re: [video]
It's very nice to meet you Harry Dresden. I really do appreciate the help and I hope we can be friends!

And I am quite glad to hear your voice, Mihoshi-san! I myself am presently in Goldenrod as well. Perhaps we may run into eachother!

Oh! And I'm not quite sure how to set a trap that works. I mean it should be easy right? I sort of attempted one in the forest but it didn't turn out at all you know. Actually, Lady got stuck in it and we had a hard time getting her out!

Ah~ And mine is a Krabby! I bought it from Feferi-san. She is quite kind.
Re: Video ☆
[She fumbles with her gear for a moment before aiming it away from her and pointing it to her two youngest pokemon. Her Gible is currently chewing on a rock, very content with just that while her Smoochum had already found the nearest reflective surface and is currently playing with the Butterfly Barette in her hair.]
See? The one with the rock is Blue and the adorable one with the barrette is Lady!

... Do you even have any idea of how to do it?
Re: video
I mean I want to be friends with it and make sure it doesn't get hurt so that should be enought! And with Teddi-chan and Lady's help I should be able to do it!

I was going to say lure it out with food, but I was beaten to the punch! They really like sticky and smelly stuff - if you can get peanut-butter, that'll really keep them occupied long enough to catch them!
Re: [video]
Really? Well, I think I have some of that so maybe I should try that next. I would really hate for it to get hurt following us around.
